We have a new and exciting opportunity to join our company as a Housing Register Assessment Officer.
Do you enjoy supporting others and are you confident in dealing with members of the public in an empathetic way on the telephone and in person? Are you highly motivated with good I.T skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines?
If you can answer yes to these questions then this is the role for you. You will be working alongside colleagues in the Access and Support and Advice and Prevention Teams within the Housing service to ensure applicants’ housing register applications are correctly assessed with the minimum of delay.
You will be communicating in person, by telephone and in writing with colleagues, clients, internal and external partners, and third parties to gather all the information you need to accurately assess applications for housing in the borough of Sutton.
You will be highly organised, be able to multitask, appreciate diversity and be goal oriented. You will need to go above and beyond to support clients, in addition to working with colleagues to achieve team goals
You will be working in a busy frontline service with highly motivated colleagues who are helpful and welcoming with a strong work and team ethic.
This is a full time (36 hours per week) post. There is an annual leave entitlement of 23 days plus Bank Holidays.
