The Position

Are you passionate about homelessness? Do you love challenges? Do you like to get the best out of people? If yes, we have a fantastic opportunity to lead a mixed team of Targeted Housing Advisers, Homeless Persons Officer and Case Management Officers to achieve the aims of the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.

This includes a £3000 market supplement. Market Supplements are subject to the provisions set out in the Market Supplement Policy.

Market Supplements are additional to your base salary, time-limited and subject to a review every 24 months. Should the review outcome be that the Market Supplement is no longer justifiable, payments will be withdrawn or adjusted accordingly.

All Market Supplements are subject to normal deductions such as Tax, NI and Pension contributions and are not subject to pay protection. In the event of a post regrading, the Market Supplement will be reviewed to ensure the amount remains justified in accordance with the policy.

The Person

You will be managing a highly motivated team to meet challenging KPIs, deliver a high quality service and provide unrivalled customer services in preventing homelessness, relieving homelessness and making sound homelessness decisions.

You will have excellent knowledge of homelessness legislation, case law and the Code of Guidance, experience of leading a frontline housing team to a very high standard, track record of implementing the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 and meeting targets.

This is a full time (36 hours per week) post. There is an annual leave entitlement of 25 days plus Bank Holidays.
